WOMEN'S MINISTRIES In your quieter moments, do you long for spiritual renewal and holy living? Do you wish in the midst of your busy life you could consistently have a quality of spiritual life you promise God at the end of the Sunday sermon? Join with us in Women's Ministry in helping one another become women of Christian excellence. This involves not only seeking inward Christ-like purity in our daily lives, but seeing others through the eyes of Jesus. We want to reach out to one another and be willing to walk beside others in their times of need. The Women's Ministry of First Baptist Church is not just another organization to join. It is a group of imperfect women who want to be supportive, first of one another and then of others within and outside of our church. We do this through a variety of activities, both formal and informal. They include frequent Bible studies, missionary projects, luncheons, help for the needy, and craft get-togethers, plus less frequent retreats and banquets. When you see or hear an announcement of one of our activities, please don't assume every woman in the church attends - this is not true. You are free to participate as you have time and interest in each individual activity. You will be welcome, whether or not you have ever attended any other function.
