We entered the New Year with prayers and praises at our church. The New Year Service is usually one of the key events for our church. It was like inhaling a dose of fresh air to face the new tasks ahead as the Lord warmed our hearts with His grace and compassion.

Our year began with many blessings, and unique weather. It's been awhile since we experienced a snowy winter. We rejoiced to be getting the needed moisture as the snow began to fall, but it just kept coming and coming. I believe we had over two feet in our front yard. Because of the snow, people were stranded for weeks at a time. I had to hike pulling a sled with bottles of water and food to deliver to some stranded church families. The road was impassible into the church premises so we had to cancel several services. It was crazy! The snow was so deep the grader couldn't clear the dirt roads to family camps, and we are still dealing with the aftermath where the dirt road became impassibly muddy. Many still come out to the paved road early in the morning and then wait to come home until late in the evening when the mud is frozen again. We thank the Lord for the moisture that came with the snow and, as I say, every blessing comes with hard work and some readjustments.

Our family is doing well and the ministry is going great.
